ADULT FLUTE RETREAT

Tilicum Retreat, August 24–29, 2008

Join us for an outstanding week of flute playing, friendship and fun on beautiful Tilikum Lake, 35 miles SW of Portland, Oregon. Fees include tuition, room, and board: $550 (dbl) – $575 (sgl). Single occupancy is available on a first–come/first–served basis so don't delay in reserving your space! A deposit of $250 is due by 4/30/08.

Adult Flute Retreat is a 5 day overnight retreat for adults (18+) in a summer camp setting. We will have large and small ensembles working on all aspects of performing during the mornings. Evening Master Classes will allow everyone an opportunity to work on a piece in front of the group. The piece will be something that you've wanted to learn or polish. The afternoons will be for personal time, either on the campgrounds where there is a lake, fishing, canoeing, hiking, relaxing, practicing, etc. or going on excursions such as Wine Tasting, antique hunting , etc. We might even consider performing ensembles at a local café on Thursday night .

We want this camp to be a time for your personal growth as a player and at the same time, an opportunity to form new relationships and have fun and relax! *

*Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on the grounds or in the Retreat Center. Smoking is not permitted inside the Retreat Center, however, there are two designated smoking areas for guests-the decks on the front and backside of the Retreat Center.
